CITY OF ELKO’S SEMI ANNUAL “TAKE PRIDE IN ELKO DAY!”
COMMUNITY CLEANUP
Saturday, April 28, 2012
Landfill Hours 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Objective:
The semi-annual Take Pride in Elko Day provides the residents of Elko City and Elko County the ability to dispose of large bulky items, and yard waste (tree branches, weeds, etc.) from personal and public property without being charged a tipping fee.  An NYTC crew will be available at the landfill to assist residents with offloading.

Important:

• The fee will not be waived for commercial (business) customers.

Tips:

• PLEASE REMOVE THE DOORS FROM ANY BULKY ITEM THAT IS SELF-LOCKING!!!
• Remember to cover your loads to the landfill to prevent losing any waste.

 

The City would like to encourage all Elko City and Elko County residents to take advantage of the Fall Community Cleanup Day and keep our City and County a safe, beautiful, clean place to live.
