Precinct Map
The City of Elko is hereby divided into twelve (12) precincts as follows:
PRECINCT NO. 1. That portion of the city beginning at the intersection of Fifth Street and Idaho Street;
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of Fifth Street and its continuation as Lamoille Highway to its intersection with the city boundary near Last Chance Road;
Thence, northeasterly, then southerly along the varying courses of the Elko Boundary line following its courses to where the boundary line intersects with Lamoille Highway southeasterly of Errecart Boulevard.
Thence, westerly along the southern corporate boundary to the extension of South Third Street;
Thence, northwesterly along said extension and along the centerline of Third Street to its intersection with Idaho Street;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of Idaho Street to its intersection with Fifth Street, being the point of beginning, with polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 2. That portion of the city beginning at the intersection of Idaho Street and Third Street as the point of beginning;
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of Third Street and its extension to the south boundary of the city of Elko;
Thence, westerly along the south boundary of the City of Elko following its varying courses to its intersection with Idaho Street or Old U.S. 40 at approximately 3400 West Idaho Street;
Thence, northerly along varying courses along the westerly Corporate Boundary to the extension of Tamarack Road;
Thence, easterly along the extension of Tamarack Road to a point just east of Royal Crest Drive along the City of Elko boundary;
Thence, continuing southerly along the City of Elko boundary following varying courses to the northern side of Idaho Street or Old U.S. 40;
Thence, northeasterly along the varying courses of the City of Elko boundary to its intersection with the centerline of Idaho Street or Old U.S. 40;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of Idaho Street to its intersection with Third Street, being the point of beginning; with polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 3. That portion of the city of Elko described as beginning at the intersection of Fifth Street and Idaho Street;
Thence, southwesterly along the centerline of Idaho Street to its intersection with Mountain City Highway and Idaho Street;
Thence, northwesterly along Mountain City Highway to West Cedar Street;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of Cedar Street to its intersection with Highland Drive;
Thence, northerly along Highland Drive centerline to its intersection with Ash Street;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of Ash Street to its intersection with Fifth Street;
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of Fifth Street to its intersection with Idaho Street, being the point of beginning; with polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 4. That portion of the city of Elko described as beginning at the intersection of Ash Street and Fifth Street;
Thence, southwesterly along the centerline of Ash Street to its intersection with Highland Drive;
Thence, northerly along the centerline of Highland Drive to West Sage Street;
Thence, westerly along the centerline of West Sage Street to its intersection with Sewell Drive;
Thence, northerly along the centerline of Sewell Drive to its intersection with Fourth Street;
Thence, easterly along the centerline of Fourth Street to its intersection with Willow Street;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of Willow Street to its intersection with Fifth Street;
Thence, northwesterly along the centerline of Fifth Street to its intersection with Interstate 80;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of Interstate 80 to its intersection with Elm Street;
Thence, southwesterly along the centerline of Elm Street to its intersection with Fifth Street;
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of Fifth Street to its intersection with Ash Street, being the point of beginning; with polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 5. The portion of the city of Elko described as beginning at the intersection of Fifth Street and Willow Street;
Thence, southwesterly along the centerline of Willow Street to its intersection with Fourth Street;
Thence, westerly along the centerline of Fourth Street to its intersection with Sewell Drive;
Thence, southerly along the centerline of Sewell Drive to its intersection with West Sage Street;
Thence, easterly along the centerline of West Sage Street to its intersection with Highland Drive;
Thence, southerly along Highland Drive to its intersection with West Cedar Street;
Thence, westerly along the centerline of West Cedar Street to its intersection with Idaho Street;
Thence, westerly along the centerline of Idaho Street to the intersection with the westerly boundary of the city of Elko at a point near the westerly end of the Elko airport property;
Thence, northwesterly along said corporate boundary in a northerly direction to its intersection with the centerline of Interstate Highway 80;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of Interstate Highway 80 to its intersection with Fifth Street;
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of Fifth Street to its intersection with Willow Street, being the point of beginning; with polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 6. That portion of the city of Elko described as beginning at the intersection of Interstate Highway 80 and Mountain City Highway State Route 225;
Thence, southwesterly along said Interstate Highway 80 to its intersection with the west corporate boundary of the city of Elko;
Thence, northerly and easterly along the corporate boundary of said city to its intersection with Sagecrest Drive;
Thence, northwesterly along the Corporate Boundary of Elko to its intersection with State Route 225 (Mountain City Highway).
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of said Mountain City Highway (SR 225) to its intersection with Interstate Highway 80, the point of beginning; with polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 7. That portion of the city of Elko described as beginning at the intersection of Interstate Highway 80 and the Mountain City Highway (SR 225);
Thence, northwesterly along the centerline of said Mountain City Highway (SR 225) to its intersection with Argent Avenue;
Thence, northerly along the centerline of said Argent Avenue to its intersection with Copper Street;
Thence, easterly along the centerline of said Copper Street to its intersection with Fifth Street;
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of said Fifth Street to its intersection with Interstate Highway 80;
Thence, southwesterly along the centerline of said Interstate Highway 80 to the intersection of Mountain City Highway (SR 225), point of beginning; with a polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 8. That portion of the city of Elko beginning at the intersection of Interstate Highway 80 and Fifth Street;
Thence, northwesterly along the centerline of said Fifth Street to its intersection with the northern corporate boundary of the city of Elko;
Thence, easterly and southerly along said corporate boundary of the city of Elko, to its intersection with Golf Course Road;
Thence, southerly along the centerline of said Golf Course Road to its intersection with Interstate Highway 80;
Thence, southwesterly along the centerline of said Interstate Highway 80 to the intersection of Fifth Street, point of beginning; with a polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 9. That portion of the city of Elko described as beginning at the intersection of Fifth Street and Idaho Street;
Thence, northwesterly along the centerline of Fifth Street to Elm Street;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of Elm Street to its intersection with Interstate Highway 80;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of said Interstate Highway 80 to the intersection of Golf Course Road;
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of Golf Course Road to its intersection with College Avenue;
Thence, southwesterly along the centerline of College Avenue to its intersection with Fourteenth Street;
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of Fourteenth Street to its intersection with Idaho Street;
Thence, southwesterly along the centerline of Idaho Street to its intersection with Fifth Street, being the point of beginning; with polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 10. That portion of the city of Elko described as beginning at the intersection of Fifth Street and Idaho Street;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of Idaho Street to its intersection with Fourteenth Street;
Thence, northwesterly along the centerline of Fourteenth Street to its intersection with College Avenue;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of College Avenue to its intersection with Golf Course Road;
Thence, northwesterly along the centerline of Golf Course Road to its intersection with Interstate 80 near the northerly corporate boundary of the city of Elko;
Thence, northerly, easterly, and southerly along the varying courses of the northeasterly corporate boundary of the city of Elko to its intersection with the Humboldt River;
Thence, southwesterly downstream along the centerline of said Humboldt River to its intersection with Fifth Street;
Thence, northwesterly along the centerline of Fifth Street to its intersection with Idaho Street, the point of beginning; with a polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 11. That portion of the city of Elko described as beginning at the intersection of Fifth Street and the Humboldt River;
Thence, northeasterly along the centerline of said Humboldt River to its intersection with the easterly corporate boundary of the city of Elko;
Thence, southerly along said corporate boundary to its boundary to its intersection with Last Chance Road;
Thence, southwesterly along Last Chance Road to the intersection of the centerline of Lamoille Highway.
Thence, westerly along the centerline of said Lamoille Highway and Fifth Street to its intersection with the Humboldt River, the point of beginning, with a polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
PRECINCT NO. 14. That portion of the city of Elko described as beginning at the intersection of Mountain City Highway (SR 225) and Argent Avenue;
Thence, westerly along the centerline of Mountain City Highway (SR 225) to its intersection with the westerly corporate boundary limits of the city of Elko;
Thence, northerly and easterly following along the varying course of the northwesterly corporate boundary of the city of Elko to its intersection with Fifth Street;
Thence, southeasterly along the centerline of Fifth Street to its intersection with Copper Street;
Thence, westerly along the centerline of Copper Street to its intersection with Argent Avenue;
Thence, southerly along the centerline of Argent Avenue to its intersection with Mountain City Highway (SR 225), the point of beginning; with a polling place at the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way.
The city council shall in its order for a general election designate the polling places for each precinct for such election. Such designations may be made in accordance with the applicable provisions of Nevada Revised Statutes section 293.437.
